Spanglish I: Banana Republic

My primas and I are crazy, it comes with our blood, we are each other's "loco y locas favoritos", respectively. The level of our crazyness varies in each one of us, they call me "loco" very often, and in some ocassions "loco!", whenever I exceed myself. But to be honest, I don't think I am all that crazy, it is more of a mental state that usually never comes out.

So, as we're a bunch of "locos" (the Crazy Bunch, you could say), we will found our own Banana Republic (as in "crazy bananas"; non-related at all with any "pejorative term for a country that is politically unstable, dependent on limited agriculture (e.g. bananas), and ruled by a small, self-elected, wealthy, and corrupt clique", as found in Wikipedia). Why? Because the name "Wonderland" is already taken, and even when the three of us are as crazy as the inhabitants of that place, we are not intending to plagiarize any renowned author. Maybe we could try also to name our little country as "Nut Kingdom" (anyway, each and every monarchy, or the mere idea of it, is, by far, "absolutely" crazy; or should I say: "absolutistamente" loca), but that would mean to reconsider our constitution, while we eat some ice cream, maybe a banana split, with chopped nuts as a topping, and we aren´t that crazy.

I thought about writing this in Spanish, but that, of course, would have been nonsense: descabellado, absurdo, ridículo... It would be nonsense? No, of course not, in Spanish this couldn't be "nonsense".
